Texas Man shot by Victim

In Texas on July 5, 2018 a man tried to carjack a vehicle as the owner was paying the bill, she got back in her vehicle and was able to retrieve her handgun after telling him to stop, she shot him in the face, forcing him to stop driving.

I was reading this article and thinking great job to the mother of two, inside the car was two small children.   What a great immediate responder and concealed carrier she is, she saved the lives of those two children. 

I read on about how she should have "killed" him, and one wrote "that's what they teach at CCW class".
I want to comment on that mentality.  What I teach in my CCW classes is not to "kill", I teach you to keep shooting until the threat has ended period. 
She shot him one time in the face, and no other shots were necessary, the threat ended.

How do your classes work? Where do I start?

Where do we start you off?  If you tell me you have been shooting and have taken classes before, we ask which ones and which affiliation have you taken them from. NRA? USCCA?   House of Worship Training How is your House of Worship Team's Health? Are they trained to do more than look for an active shooter?  Where is the focus on the security for your congregation, youth groups, and leaders? Do they do ongoing training with a Certified Instructor?  Do you have enough Volunteers for your Greeter/Usher/Security Team? Do you have armed security?  Have they qualified with a Firearms Instructor for Insurance Purposes?
