Carrying without any Classes Under your belt?

            If you are in State that does not require you to complete a course before your get your concealed carry permit, and you do not seek a class, this makes you not only dangerous to yourself, but others as well!
            It is recommended that you obtain at least 2 classes, one class being a Fundamentals course or Basic Handgun course, and then a Handgun  Self-Defense Course.
            You  might be saying... that can get expensive.  Well, can you afford not to take a course?
("I am defending myself, the police will know this when I tell them", or "I am not a bad guy, I pulled my gun to stop the threat, I can't get into trouble for this!")
This is exactly why you need to take a course, this type of thinking can drain your accounts quickly if you need to defend yourself or a  loved one.
            These courses are designed to get you out of trouble, if you get into trouble.   You are completely wrong if you think you can use your weapon at any time without repercussions.  You are putting yourself, your family in legal, moral and financial turmoil carrying without any training whatsoever.
            Now I know I am sounding like I would suggest myself for this role, you are right.  I care about your well-being. Obviously there are hundreds of us out there, find one close to you, or travel to us!
           Folks, being "ready" and being "prepared" are two different animals in this world.  Which one will you be?  There are types of legal coverage you can purchase as well, which ones are the best?
The best I have seen and use myself is from the USCCA.
          Just being a member covers you, even if you use something less lethal to defend yourself.  There are other coverages out there, but you risk them not being covered because of the type of self-defense you chose to use at the time. The USCCA has your back.

How do your classes work? Where do I start?

Where do we start you off?  If you tell me you have been shooting and have taken classes before, we ask which ones and which affiliation have you taken them from. NRA? USCCA? House of Worship Training

  House of Worship Training How is your House of Worship Team's Health? Are they trained to do more than look for an active shooter?  Where is the focus on the security for your congregation, youth groups, and leaders? Do they do ongoing training with a Certified Instructor?  Do you have enough Volunteers for your Greeter/Usher/Security Team? Do you have armed security?  Have they qualified with a Firearms Instructor for Insurance Purposes?
