How is your House of Worship Team's Health?

Are they trained to do more than look for an active shooter? 

Where is the focus on the security for your congregation, youth groups, and leaders?

Do they do ongoing training with a Certified Instructor?

At Shamar's Shield, a division of Gunpowder & Lead Firearms Training, we help re-establish the Greeter/Security/Usher Team, and make it manageable. 

We offer a few programs.
 1) Ongoing Training for 1 year, including 4 In-person HOW training, 26 Zoom meetings for your team to train on subjects, 2 days at the range and 2 days in the HOW for Reality-Based Training utilizing SIRT (inert weapons), as well as an ongoing training template to keep your HOW up-to-date for monthly meetings, including a free class STOP THE BLEED from St. Lukes Hospital, as long as they are still offering this.  Discounts on Emergency First Aid Fundamentals from the USCCA.

2) Countering The Mass Shooter Threat Course, One Day In Person Training for Armed Security, Information on Free Courses offered, Discounts on Emergency First Aid Fundamentals from the USCCA.

3rd Program
12 Week Training Via Zoom, Information on Free Classes in the Area, Discounts on Emergency First Aid Fundamentals from the USCCA.

How do your classes work? Where do I start?

Where do we start you off?  If you tell me you have been shooting and have taken classes before, we ask which ones and which affiliation have you taken them from. NRA? USCCA? Brand X, or BIG BOX INDOOR RANGE PLACE?  I have typically 2 basic courses for anyone to start out at, even as a refresher for those who have been shooting and taught by a friend or family member, trust me, you will learn something here that they could not have taught you unless they took a class with us and remembered everything we teach, or they themselves have been a firearms instructor and know what I know.  I have been to many instructors/schools/training facilities and know what they do not teach.  -prices shown are at the time of this article, prices may have increased due to rising costs- Pistol Fundamentals, or Women's Pistol Fundamentals-  $175 6-hour course 1) Safety Rules, 2) Handgun Anatomy 3) Action Types 4) Ammunition types/storage 5) Sight Alignment 6) Trigger Cycle 7) Gear & Gadgets 8) Rang
